Utilities are critical infrastructure. This means that if they undergo a cyberattack all dependent communities and related infrastructure systems will also be at risk. One way to build resilience to this is to have built-in isolation functions in IT systems. This way if the external world becomes threatening disconnection can occur. This is Why Utility IT Systems Should be Isolatable.
