As climate change becomes more intense, people are going to migrate in and out of locations from its impacts. This will lead to drastic population shifts, which could potentially put on a strain on water resources. For this reason, government officials of all levels should look into Integrating Climate Migration into Water Resource Planning. Areas that lose population are going to look into dealing with maintaining oversized infrastructure, and areas that gain population will have to think about having sufficient water sources.
