“Why is the global north morally obligated to build a housing surplus to accommodate climate refugees?”

The Global North (also known as the “Western World”) became wealthy by extracting from their colonies in the Global South. Since many of the issues in these countries have been caused by such barbaric practices, it is only morally correct that the global north take in refugees. In order to do this, a housing surplus will be necessary to provide accommodations. This is Why the Global North is Morally Obligated to Build a Housing Surplus to Accommodate Refugees.
