“How will climate change impact rent pricing?”
The climate has always affected an area’s rent pricing. Zones with better weather and/or farther away from disaster zones were priced higher due to their greater livability standards. However, with the advent of climate change, this is going to become more exacerbated, as living in a livable climate becomes more and more of a necessity. This Climate Rent Pricing is already playing a bigger role in cities like Miami where sea-level rise and hurricanes are becoming extremely deadly at a rapid pace.
