U.S Federal law prohibits Native American Tribes from hunting outside of their reservations. These exterior places are usually their original home where the food they depended on was present. During expulsion to the reservations, they were forced to rely on government-supplied foods with large amounts of sugar and flour that lacked nutritional value.
