“How could we assign a carbon cost to war?”

War takes up gargantuan amounts of energy and resources, which in turn leads to CO2 emissions. Since governments preparing for war are also looking into quantifying how sustainable their actions are, they should quantify how much CO2 would be emitted if they begin fighting. This Carbon Cost of War must become more important for making drastic decisions.
