Much of the world’s population relies on electricity to get through with their daily lives. If this source of power is taken away, then it can cause the collapse of said infrastructure. This extends far and wide and includes operations for food such as electric stoves and refrigerators. If this goes, then food will spoil and be unable to be cooked and can lead to starvation.
