“Why should grid reliability be a resilience metric?”

Grid reliability is foundational for the functioning of a whole multitude of societies. Having a stable grid allows for technical operations to continue smoothly and for critical operations to occur. When this becomes disrupted, then society’s foundation ruptures and chaos ensue. To build adaptive capacity, we must always include grid reliability into our planning. This is why Grid Reliability as a Resilience Metric is so important.
