“Why do cities need to remove single-family zoning to accommodate climate refugees?”
Single-family zoning in cities blocks the construction of multi-family housing and makes government-subsidized housing even more difficult. In order to accommodate climate refugees, cities will have to build the latter forms of housing instead. This is Why Cities Need to Remove Single-Family Zoning to Accommodate Climate Refugees.
Amen. I talked with a person who voted for the former president today. He hated everything about him except that he wanted to close the borders. How could I explain that migrants will not be stopped when their land is no longer livable? When it’s maybe no longer even land? Are we going to affirm our humanity and make room? I hope so.

Agree about the zoning. With 600,000 or mire people living in Central and South America, and becoming uninhabitable, , and our southwest and sourheast turning into desert, not sure hiw money people we can rake un, where they would go and how they will be fed. Same for our population in the Southern and Western parts of our country. Lots of displacement and change is coming, with no answers.
