“Why are COVID vaccines being diverted from the global south?”
In a purely equal world, every nation would receive an equal amount of COVID vaccines with respect to its population. However, since the vaccine is being distributed on a global market, countries with more wealth are purchasing a greater portion of the vaccines. This results in vaccines being diverted from countries in the global south, with a vast majority going to the global north. This is Why COVID Vaccines Are Being Diverted From the Global South.
