Population Increases and Water Demand

“What is the relationship between population increase and water demand?”

For a given area the population needs drinkable water. And if more people live in the area, then more water will need to be supplied. As a result, there is a direct relationship between Population Increases and Water Demand. In the future, this will need to be taken more into account in large urban areas as more people move in and fewer water resources become available.
