“How can migration be a form of economic adaptation to climate change?”
As the climate changes, some areas will become more suitable for economic activity and some will be less. As a result, some communities and individuals may migrate so they can have an economic opportunity, whether it be creating a farm farther north in the northern hemisphere or opening up swimming pools in a hotter area. This is the link between Climate Adaptation and Economic Migration.
