“How can we ensure the continuation of biodiversity by storing seeds of plant species in isolated vaults?”
The biodiversity of plants in this world is one of the most important factors for our food system. However, since industrialized agriculture relies on large quantities of monoculture, much of this biodiversity is being lost. To prevent this from happening, we can engineer giant Seed Vaults that store seeds from plant species from all over the world. In case a plant species needs to be repopulated, one can call upon the seed vault to provide supplies.
