“How can we realign roadways to no longer present hazards to rail?”

Rail is one of the most spectacular forms of transportation on Earth. However, when rail has to cross a roadway, complications, congestion, and even injuries can ensue. So what’s one way to ensure safety when designing railroads? Well, what if we were to realign the road to be under or over the railway? That way there won’t be any contact between the train and the other traffic flow. In the train world, this is known as Grade Separation for Rail and has been implemented in countless cases.
