“Why is bombing cities inherently bad for climate change?”
Buildings have a certain amount of embodied carbon in them from construction. When they get destroyed during warfare, new buildings will have to be rebuilt to function in their place. This leads to increased carbon emissions and is why there is an intersection between Buildings, Embodied Carbon, and Warzones.
