“How can we create physical centers for women’s empowerment?”

A disproportionate amount of the world’s care burdens fall on women. Whether it be cleaning laundry, cooking for families, or taking care of loved ones, women are at the forefront of it. This can take away time from women achieving professional success, educational obtainment, and personal enjoyment. To solve this, the city of Bogota has create care blocks that bring services such as laundry facilities, educational support to women, and recreational classes to women to help them achieve balance in their lives. These Bogota Care Blocks are an excellent example of how women can achieve balance in their lives through better urban planning.
