“What is the study of glaciers and ice?”

Glaciers are important parts of the earth. They melt during Summer to add extra water flow to keep the water cycle running. Studying this is an important part of Earth Science. This subfield, known as Glaciology, takes in perspectives from various studies, including geology, geophysics, climatology, and ecology. Scientists who study glaciology are known as glaciologists and may have training in any of the fields mentioned above and more.
