“Why do some rivers have the shape of a wave?”

Some rivers have the shape of a wave. But how are these formed? Well, when the sediments of a river cliff is eroded by water, sediment is deposited in an inner convex bank. The fusion of erosion and sedimentation produces a sinusoidal frame through a floodplain that water can go through, producing what are known as Meandering Rivers.
