“Why is understanding negative economic externalities critical for environmental justice?”
Negative economic externalities are when one party’s economic actions cause disturbances for another party. This can range from pollution generated by a factory to waste created by discarding plastics. Marginalized communities are usually on the receiving end of these negative economic externalities, particularly on the environmental front. Fighting this evil requires us to know its root. This is Why Understanding Negative Economic Externalities is Critical for Environmental Justice.
